This two ingredient taste sensation can work for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We make it as a go-to quickie meal in our house. Sometimes you don’t have time to make a big feast. Sometimes you just gotta eat and get back to it.
Use a mild sausage if you’re making this for breakfast and a hot Italian sausage for lunch or dinner. Heh heh, I said hot Italian sausage.

Tried this for something new. The apple really compliments the breakfast sausage I used. Now it’s a staple recipe and I sometimes mix it with broiled cauliflower.
Thanks!
great idea to add the cauliflower! I also like to throw a little sage in there when I have it on hand

This recipe is simple and amazing! If you can get your hands on opal apples it really makes it pop. I put this on a bed of sauteed brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli and carrot sticks. It’s really good.
Thanks for the recipes Anna! I love using and tinkering with them!
This is so tasty. Ate it today and I’m making more for tomorrow.
I bet this would be great with sauteed cabbage! Very Octoberfest! I need an apple, stay!
